Sunday ramblings

Went to Church this morning. It was one of those sermons where you just know it was directed right at you. It was eye opening and challenged me.
Kimberly is still trying to get in her 50 hours of driving before she can get her regular license, so I let her drive home from Church. She got her first honk from another car b/c she wandered into his lane in front of him. I told her that will be the first of many more honks to come. LOL
So we made it home, I ate lunch, took a nap, then began working on learning the Zumba routines. I don't know how I'm ever going to learn them all.
After that I did something I'm not proud of. I made myself a cup of coffee. :( It was the third cup I've had in like 2 weeks.
I have a new song I'm addicted too right now. It's by the group One Direction "What make you beautiful." I love that song!! So fun!!
So that's about all i have to share for today. Trying to figure out what we're going to watch tonight on TV since Amazing Race isn't on b/c of the Coutry Music Awards and Walking Dead is on hiatus for the summer.

It's official!!!!!

I'm a licensed Zumba instructor!!!! I attended an all day training today. It was so much fun!! I LOVE Zumba and can't wait to get started!!!!!

Stir Crazy

So I was wanting to get out of the house and attempt to find some caches. So me, Kimberly, and Kirsten headed out to try to find 7 of them. We are such bad geocachers. We couldn't find any of them. Lol I'm gonna blame it on our GPS. Even though we struck out we had so much fun! I was laughing so hard!! I love my girls. :)

Made the leap to the dark side

Once again I find myself having done something I said I would never do. We went geocaching yesterday. LOL In our defense we felt we had no choice. The letterboxing community here New Mexico is just not the same as Texas. They don't have regular get togethers and very few letterboxes. Out of the like 8 we've tried to find here all but one were missing. Also the clues haven't been written well at all. It has just brought us frustration. So we looked into geocaching. The rival of letterboxing. The geocaching community is unreal here!! There are over 1300 geocaches hidden here in Las Cruces alone!! They have like 5 event gatherings scheduled in the next 2 weeks! It's incredible!! As with any new hobby I get into I am at the obsession phase now. I can't wait to go out again! :)

Hiking the Dona Anna's

We were getting stir crazy in the house, so we decided to take the 5 minute drive over to the mountains to do some hiking. It was such a beautiful day! So quiet and peaceful. I love where I live!!

White Sands

We live about 40 miles from White Sands. It is an incredible place!! If you've never gone you've got to make plans to go. It's the largest collection of gypsum in the world. The pictures don't do it justice. We went there today with some friends from Church. I posted some video's on my twitvid account that y'all got to check out. Nothing new to report

I'm posting something just b/c it's been a couple of days since I last posted anything. I want to make sure ya'll keep coming back so I'm gonna just post random stuff. :)
The last couple of days were uneventful. It's been a lazy week since it's spring break. I've been spending alot of time on Twitter and the Draw Something app. I'm Perkyp99 on Draw Something if ya'll want to add me and start a game. :)
Getting nervous for Saturday the 31st. That's when I will attend the training to become a Zumba instructor. I still don't know if I'm doing the right thing. There are so many instructors here, it's gonna be hard to find a class to lead. Plus, I'm still not sure I have what it takes. I'm gonna go for it though and see what happens.
Today I felt so dumb. Twice I didn't get a funny joke when I heard it the first time. It was hours later when I finally got it. LOL
