Danville Farm

We had the best time today! We went to Danville Farm to pick out our Christmas tree. Right when we got there they took us on a hay ride until we found the spot we wanted to be dropped off at in the trees. We looked around for the perfect tree. We saw several that we liked, however when Kimberly said that she found the one that she fell in love with that's when we knew that was the one. Scott chopped it down, then they picked us back up and took us on the hay ride to get it ready to take home. It was really neat how it worked. They put it in this machine thingy that shook all the dead needles off. Then they put it through this thing that put a net around it. While all this was happening we sat around a fire and ate peanuts. Chris, Kyrie and Katherine played on the riding toys they had there. Scott tied it down to the top of our van and we came home. It was such a wonderful experience. The only thing that would have made it perfect is if it was cold and snowing. Instead it was sunny and 60 degrees. Gotta love Texas. LOL

When we came home we decorated the tree. It looks so beautiful. We love our tree. :)
